Blackheads are something that everyone has to deal with at some point, or something at several points in a lifetime! Dirt finds its way into the pores and clogs them, creating big pores filled with dirt.

Thousands of people spend hours upon hours picking and squeezing blackheads, using over-the-counter products that dry out the skin, and leaving scars and red blotches for days, and sometimes longer.

First What NOT To Do

  • Don’t squeeze, pick, poke or push on your blackheads, no matter how tempting it is.
  • Don’t use over-the-counter acne removal kits that contain alcohol because they dry out the skin and make things worse.
  • Don’t try to cover up blackheads with heavy makeup. It looks awful and it makes the oil and dirt in your pores much worse.

Second, What TO Do

Throw out all of your acne products like Clearasil, Proactive, Astringent Pads- they are not good for your skin regardless of what the cute teen commercials say!

First Method:

  1. Pour four cups of boiling water, and one slice of lemon. Squeeze the lemon in the boiling water and leave the rind in the bowl.
  2. Stick your face over the bowl and cover your head with a towel. Keep your face over the steam as long as possible and enjoy the feeling of your pores opening.
  3. Towel your face off with a clean fresh towel.

Repeating this each night will make your blackheads disappear in no time

Second Method:

Twice per week: Mix mineral water with a few tablespoons of baking soda until a paste is formed. Rub the paste on your nose and other areas with black heads. Gently pat the paste off with a wet cloth.

Third Method:

**This is a much more expensive way, but a good product for people who like to buy good scrubs

  1. Go to any LUSH store or to
  2. Order/buy ‘Ocean Salt Scrub’ (It’s an all natural scrub with sea salt and lemons).
  3. Scrub face and any parts of the body with Ocean Salt Scrub and remove the scrub with a damp cloth, pat dry.

Fourth Method:

  1. Buy some green tea leaves and crush them in small pieces.
  2. Add water to make a paste.
  3. Rub paste all over your face. The paste will draw out the dirt and puss from your face.
  4. Wash off with wet cloth and pat dry.

Fifth Method:

  1. Cut one large lemon slice.
  2. Use one small container of plain Greek yogurt.
  3. Get two tablespoons of all natural honey, preferable from a comb with pieces of wax from the comb included.
  4. One tablespoon of coarse sea salt.

Squeeze the lemon into the container of yogurt. Add the honey with the pieces of the comb. Add the tablespoon of sea salt and then mix well with a spoon.

Rub the ‘yogurt mask’ all over the face and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Wash off (you’ll probably want to wash this off in the shower as it can get pretty sticky). This is a fantastic mask to use once a week for soft skin and blackhead free pores!

Last Method- By Far the Easiest

Mix two tablespoons of natural honey and one tablespoon of turmeric. Plaster the honey paste on your face and let it stand for about 10 minutes. This is best to do in the morning before taking a shower.

In Conclusion:

There are dozens of natural methods to get rid of blackheads. Don’t waste money on expensive over-the-counter products that will simply dry out your skin with alcohol and other harmful ingredients. Try any of the natural ways and your blackheads will disappear overnight!
